"A call came in from an owner of a meat farm in Nonsan city. They want to give up saying that they would rather run a shelter and get paid. Its a meat farm cum puppy mill. Breeds here are so unique such as Doberman, Sharpei, Chowchow, Golden Retriever total 150 dogs together.
The owner sent us a video of a Golden Retriever gave birth to ten puppies. These dogs here at the puppy mill turn to meat dogs when they become non productive..."

16 Dogs rescued from a dog meat farm/slaughterhouse

"A very tough negotiation is ongoing with this puppy mill. Whole team was at the site again. This old man the owner seems to be the most tough to deal with. 14 dogs, half of them are Afghanhound, we are trying hard to get them out of this hell. It would have been lot easy with the new legislation in action, with that enact we can confiscate the dogs lawfully. This is why we are on frontline to change the law."

"This is the meat farm owned by an old couple near our shelter. They are friends of Hong. Their main business is selling scrap and junk. Both business are no good they want to turn this into a shelter. 54 big dogs 9 pups. Junk and meat dogs together, this is a hell"

"Lady Moo lives near a small meat farm that is going out of business. All the remaining 18 dogs including just born puppies are about to be sent to a slaughterhouse. She stopped the butcher and begged him to hold it for a few days. I would need to visit her and find out more but I can not turn away from this. I would like to go ahead if I can secure a few homes for the big dogs. 8 are big 10 months old 5 girls 3 boys. It seems none of the dogs are traumatized. I don't ask for donations (never did with an exception of one) because I need homes badly more than anything else"

"Chun's farm is shutting down by the city of Bucheon in two weeks. With his dog slaughtering going out of business, his wife's dog meat restaurant is changing the sign and menu.
The 22 puppies surrendered to us on the 30th June are ready for adoption.
Half of them were spayed/neutered on the 9th July, more to go as they are growing big. Most of them are timid. Vimo, Momo, Sam, Sid are with the homes in US, twoTosa pups Luki and Peanuts are flying out next week"

"Chun's meat farm is not shut down. He had five dogs, three outside and two were hidden.
After the surrender of 22 to me in June, I just could not take in anymore dogs after that. Another local org took the remaining 44 dogs and claimed they shut that down.
I saw three dogs outdoor there, two one female one male were hidden behind. He was going to breed again. I would not have known its existence behind the door if the dogs weren't barking. I peeped inside through a hole and made him open the door. He came out with a bottle of pesticide and wanted to commit suicide. I told him to go ahead. Once a butcher is forever butcher..."
